We are drivers just like you and we never fail to grumble and complain whenever we're stuck in the hustle and bustle of Kuala Lumpur traffic. When we look around, just like most of us, we’re in a Single Occupancy Vehicle…
So we started calling some friends to see who will be travelling down to KL to see whether we could catch a “free ride” and rescheduled our journey to suit theirs… It did not work all the time but it worked sometimes, then an idea developed on how to get a better match…i.e. by getting more people to participate.
We put some effort in doing a little research and found out that carpooling systems have been implemented successfully in many developed countries, so we thought why not here in Malaysia.
Hence Tune Travel was initiated and here we are.
Just like you, we were initially sceptical about the acceptance of the carpooling idea in our society, but the Tune Travel team has taken into consideration our local values and culture of implementation and we will try to address your questions in the FAQ.
Together, let us all try to make some small adjustment in our travelling pattern for a bigger impact; no more traffic jams….well at least reduce it… and maybe even help protect the environment.
We’re only requesting you to try carpooling once a week to office. Isn’t changing our travelling pattern for just one day a small sacrifice? …We’ve got to start somewhere, don’t we?
By the way, please let your friends know about us as well, the more the merrier and will create a better chance of a travel match.
